Upon arrival at CLO International Airport, a private transfer will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cali. After check-in, you`ll have some free time to settle in and enjoy your first look at the city.
In the afternoon, begin an unforgettable tour: the Cali Food Tour, a deep dive into the authentic flavors of Valle del Cauca. Accompanied by an expert local guide, you`ll visit the vibrant Gallery Alameda, one of the city`s most iconic markets, where you`ll taste tropical fruits such as lulo, chontaduro, and freshly squeezed sugarcane. The tour continues to representative sites of Cali`s flavor, such as the Plazoleta Jairo Varela and several traditional fish markets where you will taste ceviche, shrimp empanadas, and fish patacones.
Then you will delight in the famous "picadas caleñas," an explosion of flavors that includes pork rinds, pork, fried yuca, ripe plantain, and arepitas, accompanied by typical drinks such as the refreshing cholao or the traditional champús. The tour will close with a visit to a crafts shop so you can take a little piece of Cali with you. - Day 2 – Single Origin Coffee and Living Tradition
After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart early for the countryside to experience the Coffee Tour on an authentic farm in the Valle del Cauca. Hacienda El Paraíso and the Wine Route. You`ll depart from your hotel for this historic hacienda, famous for being the setting for Jorge Isaacs` novel "María." You`ll tour the colonial mansion, its gardens, and its rooms filled with history and art, on a journey back in time that connects literature and heritage. The experience continues at
Tierra Paraíso, a local winery where you`ll learn about the Isabella grape vineyards and the winemaking process in a tropical climate. You`ll visit the largest barrel in Colombia,
taste wines in a guided tasting by a sommelier, and participate in a pairing with typical products from the Valley. You`ll also be able to bottle your own wine and visit Santa Elena to see the Monument to Efraín and María.
At the end of the day, you`ll return to Cali, where a private transfer will take you from your hotel to the airport. You`ll say goodbye with a new vision of the Cauca Valley: full of history, flavors, aromas, and living culture.
