Puerto Madryn is situated in the northeast of the Chubut province, on the shore of “Golfo Nuevo” and on the foot of a plateau of 120 masl.
In the preserved area of “Península de Valdés” (World Natural Heritage) an unique and natural show takes place: the watching of “SOUTHERN WHALES” from special boats to this activity. You can see sea lions and elephant seals colony. Besides, if you have luck, you can see killer whales in the north of Península de Valdés.
During the different trips, you can find a diversified domestic fauna such us guanacos, choiques, maras and gray wolfs in its habitats. Around the inhospitable paths you will enjoy the huge plateau and will be able to go deep about the Patagonian landscape making interpretative walkings guided with experts.
