The period from January to March is the hottest and rainiest months, with March being the hottest month of the year. During this season the plants abound, and the water temperature is ideal for diving. In the period from July to September there is less rainfall and the islands are drier, but cooler, the water temperature decreases considerably, but it is the ideal season to observe more aquatic life, since animals prefer cold currents.

From Baltra To Puerto Ayora: Transfer With Turtle Ranch And Lava Tunnels

Honestly, this was the chillest way to land in the Galápagos. Met at Baltra, quick hop across the canal, then a comfy ride toward Puerto Ayora with a super friendly Tangol guide. The stop at the turtle ranch was magic - massive tortoises roaming everywhere, so close but still respectful. Then we wandered through lava tunnels that felt straight out of an adventure movie. No hassles with bags, no waiting around, and we still made it to town with time to spare. If you want your transfer to double as a mini-tour, this is the move.

Bay Tour With Snorkeling In Santa Cruz, Galapagos

Booked this Bay Tour with Tangol and it was a blast. Smooth pickup, friendly crew, and solid gear. We cruised along turquoise water, spotted blue-footed boobies and sea lions, then jumped in for snorkeling. Visibility was great - saw reef sharks, turtles, rays, and plenty of colorful fish. The guide kept it fun and safe, even for first-timers. Short walks to scenic spots broke up the boat time nicely. If you've got half a day in Santa Cruz, don't miss it.
