We will start the day with pickup from your accommodation in Villa de Leyva. You can choose the start time of the activity between 9 AM and 2 PM.
Located 15 minutes from the town`s main square, we will find the Ostrich Farm. Upon arriving at the farm, we will be welcomed by the group of expert caretakers who will show us a didactic and informative video that will allow us to do the tour in a responsible manner with the birds./b>
Guided by farm staff We will enter the habitat of this imposing bird. We will learn about their behaviors, importance in nature, their arrival in Villa de Leyva, and once we are ready we will have the opportunity to feed these birds and capture unique moments in photographs.
During the tour we will also visit the ostrich farm , and meet some other exotic species that live in the park, such as buffalos, ponies and some colorful macaws.
We will have time to visit on our own thesouvenir shop, where we will find different products derived from the eggshell of ostriches, the feathers and their beaks.
We will continue our journey towards the Gondava Park, it will be an immersion in prehistory. Upon arrival we will be welcomed with an introduction to the history of dinosaurs, contextualizing their relevance and adaptation over time.
The interactive exhibits will bring us closer to realistic and monumental replicas of these prehistoric beings, generating amazement and learning. In addition, we will enjoy different activities such as the simulation of fossil excavations and species recognition.
The park route will undoubtedly be a journey of fun and learning for the whole family, a journey through time in a period of 4 hours that will end with the transfer to your place of accommodation or original meeting point.
