Upon arrival at the farm, you will be welcomed with a typical breakfast that will energize you for a day full of activities ahead.
You will begin your immersion in the world of coffee with an introductory talk, where you will learn about the origin of coffee in the world and how it arrived in Colombia, discovering its cultural and economic importance.
Next, you`ll take a tour of the coffee plantations, strolling among fields of various coffee plants at different stages of development. You`ll learn about the cultivation process and observe the natural beauty of the surroundings, adorned with diverse species of birds, butterflies, trees, and plants that offer an unparalleled sense of tranquility.
Next, you`ll immerse yourself in the harvest and post-harvest experience, witnessing firsthand the coffee picking and selection process. You`ll observe its transformation step by step, from planting to the final product in the delicious cups we all enjoy. You`ll also learn about the daily life of a muleteer or a coffee picker, understanding the effort and dedication required to produce Colombian coffee.
After the field experience, we will take a break to enjoy a delicious lunch at the farm, where you can savor typical dishes of the region, thus complementing your cultural and gastronomic experience.
Finally, you will participate in the Coffee Ritual, where you will learn to prepare a cup of coffee using traditional methods. You will enjoy the aroma and flavor of freshly brewed coffee while learning about the traditional preparation techniques that have been passed down through generations.
