We will start the activity in a comfortable transportation land that will take us from Cali to the authentic coffee farm, located in the exuberant Valle del Cauca. As you advance, you will enjoy the landscape and the green plains that characterize this region.
Upon arriving at the farm, you will be welcomed with a typical breakfast that will energize you for a full day of activities ahead.
You will begin your immersion in the world of coffee with an introductory talk, where you will learn about the origin of coffee in the world and how it arrived in Colombia, discovering its cultural and economic importance.
Next , you will take a tour of the coffee plantations, walking between plantations of various types of coffee trees in different stages of development. You will learn about the work of cultivation and you will be able to observe the natural wealth of the environment, adorned by various species of birds, butterflies, trees and plants that provide an unmatched sensation of tranquility.
Then, you will immerse yourself in the harvest and post-harvest experience, living firsthand thecollection and selection process of coffee. You will observe step by step its transformation from sowing to the final product in the delicious cups that we enjoy so much. In addition, you will learn about the day-to-day life of a muleteer or a chapolera, understanding the effort and dedication that are required to produce Colombian coffee.
After the field experience, we will take a break to enjoy a delicious lunch on the farm , where you can taste typical dishes of the region, thus complementing your cultural and gastronomic experience.
Finally, you will participate in the< b>Coffee Ritual, where you will learn to prepare a cup of coffee using artisanal methods. You will enjoy the aromaand the flavor of coffee freshly made while you learn the traditional preparation techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation.
At the end of the day, You will return to Cali with a new appreciation for coffee and everything that goes into its production. We will take you back to your hotel or original meeting point.
