We will start early, at4:30 am, with pickup at your hotellocated in the central area of Cali. From there, we will head by private vehicle to the port of Buenaventura, known as the gateway to the Colombian Pacific. During the journey, you will be able to enjoy thetransition of landscapes, from the highlands to the coastal ones, anticipating the exciting day that awaits you.

Upon arriving in Buenaventura, we will board a boat that will take us through the waters of the Pacific to Juanchaco. This picturesque b> fishing village will be our starting point for whale watching and the beginning of our coastal explorations. During the boat trip, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the panoramic views of the coast and the ocean, preparing you to encounter nature in its most majestic form.

Once in Juanchaco, we will be received by our team of local guides and native experts in bird watching of whales. We will enter the waters of the Pacific in another specialized boat for whale watching, sailing towards the areas where humpback whales are more frequent during this time of year. Our guides will be attentive to point out the whales and ensure a close but respectful experience with these magnificent marine mammals.

The month of September stands out for the vitality of the whales, which at two months of age are especially playful and visible during their jumps and flaps in the water. In addition to humpback whales, you will have the opportunity to spot other species such aspelicans, bottlenose and spotted dolphins, tuna and sea turtles, further enriching this unique experience in the Colombian Pacific.

After the exciting sighting, we will explore the nearby caves and cliffs, depending on the state of the tide and the conditions of the day these places offer stunning views of the coastal landscape and are ideal for capturing memorable photographs of the wild nature of the region.

We will rest while enjoy a delicious lunch, for later  relax and enjoy the natural environment. We will have free time on the charming Juanchaco beach. There you can swim in the crystal clear waters, sunbathe on the sand or simply relax with the tranquility and beauty of the seascape.

At the end of our day in Juanchaco, we will return by boat to Buenaventura and then by private vehicle to Cali. We will be back in Cali at approximately 8:30 pm, leaving you at your hotel with unforgettable memories of your whale watching adventure in Bahía Málaga.
