Our activity will start in the morning with the pick up at your accommodation. Below are the details of the itinerary, the hours are estimated and may vary according to daily operation.
* 9:00 to 09:30 AM: Departure from the hotel in Santa Marta.
* 9:30 AM: Guided and panoramic tour of the most emblematic sites of Santa Marta . We will pass by the Cathedral of Santa Marta, the Parque de los Novios, the Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, the monument to “ Pibe Valderrama”, among other iconic streets of the city.
* 11:00 AM: Visit to the Taganga viewpoint. This viewpoint will offer us beautiful panoramic views of Taganga Bay and the surrounding mountains. Located at an approximate height of 100 meters above sea level, the viewpoint is the perfect place to appreciate the immensity of the ocean, take photos and contemplate the landscape.
* 11:45 AM: Panoramic tour of Taganga. The guide will give you an introduction to the history , the culture and daily life of Taganga. You will learn about the importance of fishing in the community and the evolution of the town over the years.
We will visit the Malecón de Taganga, a picturesque area where you can see the colorful fishing boats and enjoy the maritime atmosphere. Your guide will tell you fascinating stories about the lives of fishermen and their connection to the sea.
The tour will take you through the narrow streets of Taganga, where you can admire the typical architecture and colorful houses. Your guide will point out places of interest and tell you local stories and anecdotes.
* 12:15 PM: Boat transfer from Taganga to Playa Grande. We will travel for 15 minutes through the calm waters of the Caribbean Sea to reach Playa Grande, this beach captivates its visitors with its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere.
Playa Grande stretches along a wide bay and is surrounded by lush green hills and steep cliffs that protect it from the hustle and bustle outside. Upon arriving at this beach, you will be immediately seduced by its crystal clear waters and its serene and natural environment. You won`t find large resorts here, but rather small palm huts and rustic restaurants offering authentic local food and refreshing tropical drinks.
You will have free time to enjoy the beach, swim, relax in the sun and explore the surroundings.
* 01:30 PM: Lunch. We will meet again with the guide in charge to enjoy a delicious lunch with typical coastal products. The menu varies according to the season and can be adapted to your dietary requirements.
* 3:00 PM: After the lunch we will return by boat to Taganga, where we will have free time to explore, enjoy some dessert or buy souvenirs in small businesses.
* 4:00 PM: We will board the car again and return to Santa Marta. The services end at approximately 05 PM with the drop off at your place of accommodation.
