The experience begins with the pick-up service at your accommodation located in Santa Marta, from there we will move towards the area near the El Zaino Entrance, one of the most recognized accesses to the Tayrona National Natural Park. Upon arrival, a local host will welcome us and guide us to the Piedras River, the point where this fun Caribbean horseback ride begins.
Next to the Piedras River, one of the most representative tributaries of the Sierra Nevada and known for its clean waters, the horses and the necessary equipment for the journey will be ready. After a brief preparation, we will begin the guided horseback ride, a journey of approximately 50 minutes that traverses rural roads, crosses the river, and enters an environment of dense vegetation and fresh air. During the journey, it is possible to observe the transition between the tropical forest and the coastal ecosystem, a contrast that makes this route unique. Upon arriving at Los Naranjos Beach, a space opens up for contemplation and relaxation. This beach, located in the coastal corridor surrounding Tayrona, is known for its pristine landscapes and tranquil atmosphere. There you will have an hour free to explore the surroundings, walk along the shore, or enjoy a drink or snack at the local bar while the sound of the sea surrounds us.
After our time at the beach, we will return on horses along the same trail, crossing the forest and the Piedras River again until we reach the starting point. From there, the transport will take us back to Santa Marta.
