The experience begins at the International Marina, located in the heart of Santa Marta`s historic center, just steps from the Malecón and surrounded by the oldest bay in South America. From there, we will set sail aboard the sailboat Sonata, a vessel designed to sail calmly while the Caribbean Sea is tinged with the warm tones of the sunset.
During the tour, we will skirt the bay of Santa Marta, with privileged views of the city`s coastal profile. From the water you can see the port, Ziruma Hill and the colonial architecture that rises by the sea. This navigation offers a different perspective of the city, ideal for taking photographs, relaxing in the breeze and enjoying an included drink.
As the sun begins to set, the boat heads towards the Taganga Bay an old fishing village that preserves its calm pace and natural landscapes. During this part of the journey, the sky is transformed. The horizon is filled with colors ranging from deep orange to violet, while the sun slowly sets behind the sea line. It is one of the most special sunsets in the Colombian Caribbean and a typical postcard for those who visit this region. After sailing, the sailboat begins its return to the marina. Arrival will be around 8:00 p.m., when the city is already enveloped in the warm atmosphere of the coastal night.
