- Day 1 – Arrival in Medellín and panoramic city tour by chiva
Upon arrival at Medellín airport, a private transfer will take you directly to your accommodation in the city. After settling in, a vibrant afternoon awaits you tobegin your discovery of the city with apanoramic tour in a chiva, a colorful traditional Colombian vehicle that will mark the perfect start to this experience.
The tour starts from the Parque del Poblado and takes you to discover iconic spots such as the Parque de los Pies Descalzos, where you will enjoy a sensory experience walking on stone, sand and water. Then you will visit Plaza Botero, an open-air museum with monumental sculptures by the master Fernando Botero, and continue to the innovative Metrocable, which connects the city`s hillsides and allows you to admire from the air the contrast between the Medellín of yesterday and today. The tour also includes a tram ride along the Ayacucho corridor and ends at Cerro Nutibara, where you will find the charming Pueblito Paisa, a replica of a typical Antioquian town with its plaza, church, inns and crafts. From there, you`ll have one of the most complete views of the city at sunset. The tour ends with the return to Parque del Poblado or with free time to continue exploring.
- Day 2 – Guatapé and El Peñol: History and Navigation
Very early in the morning, you will leave for eastern Antioquia on a group tour that will take you to Guatapé and El Peñol, two unmissable gems of the Colombian landscape.
The first stop will be at the replica of Old Peñol, where you will learn the history of the original town that was submerged under the waters after the construction of the dam. You will then enjoy a boat ride on the Guatapé Reservoir, sailing between islands and floating houses while learning about the economic and ecological importance of this body of water.
Upon reaching the Piedra del Peñol, one of the largest monoliths in the Americas, you will have free time to admire it from the base or climb its 702 steps on your own (the climb is optional and not included).
Then you will enjoy a typical lunch in the area, followed by a guided walk through Guatapé, famous for its colorful facades and carved plinths depict the daily life of its inhabitants. The tour concludes with free time on the boardwalk and in the craft shops before returning to Medellín in the afternoon.
- Day 3 – Adventure and Biodiversity at Hacienda Nápoles
Today you will live a completely different experience, entering the Magdalena Medio to visit theHacienda Nápoles, a theme park that today represents one of the best examples of transformation in Colombia.

- Day 4 – Coffee Route: tradition, sustainability, and award-winning flavors
Today it will be your turn to discover the coffee soul of Colombia. You will be picked up in the morning from your accommodation or a centrally located meeting point to begin a day dedicated to coffee culture on an organic farm located just 20 minutes from Medellín. At Finca La Lujuana, surrounded by gardens and mountains, you will learn the complete organic coffee farming process: from planting and ecological pest management to manual harvesting of the beans. You will walk among coffee plantations, learn about sustainable techniques, and enjoy from a first tasting of artisanal coffee in the middle of the rural landscape.
Then you will return to Medellín to visit Urbania Café, a specialized roaster where you will learn how the best coffees in Colombia are selected, roasted and packaged. You will finish with a professional tasting of specialty coffees, winners of international awards, in different preparation methods. A sensorial experience that will forever transform the way you drink coffee.
You will return to your hotel with the aroma of the best coffee in the world etched in your memory.
- Day 5 – Farewell to Medellín and transfer to the airport
After breakfast, you will have free time to do some last-minute shopping, walk around the neighborhood, or simply relax. At the agreed time, a private transfer will pick you up at your accommodation and take you to the airport for your return flight, thus concluding an unforgettable tour of the landscapes, culture, and icons of Antioquia.
