The experience will begin at 2:30 PM at Parque del Poblado, the meeting point where we will board a colorful traditional chiva that will mark the beginning of a tour full of rhythm and the essence of Paisa.
From there we will head to Parque de los Pies Descalzos, an urban oasis inspired by the Zen concept that invites you to disconnect from the chaos of the city through a sensory experience. You will be able to walk barefoot on sand, stone and water, activating your senses and connecting with the natural energy of the environment. The sound of the fountains, the scent of the bamboo, and the texture of the materials make this park one of the most relaxing and unique places in Medellín.
The next stop will be in the city center to visit the iconic Plaza Botero, an open-air museum where the most renowned sculptures by the master Fernando Botero are exhibited, surrounded by the vibrant daily life of the heart of the city.
We will continue the route towards the most innovative transportation system in Colombia, the Metrocable, which will take us over the hillside neighborhoods to offer a panoramic view of Medellín and its urban transformation. The trip continues with a tram ride through Ayacucho`s cultural corridor, an area full of urban art, history and traditional architecture.
To close out this cultural experience, we`ll climb Cerro Nutibara, where the charming Pueblito Paisa is located, a living replica of a typical Antioquian town with its central plaza, church, artisan shops, and a viewpoint that offers one of the best views of Medellín at sunset.
The tour will end with the return by bus to Parque del Poblado, full of memories, photographs, and a new look at the city of eternal spring.
