The tour begins at a traditional tejo court in Bogotá, where an expert guide will explain the origin of this national sport, its cultural importance, and the symbolism behind its elements: a metal disc thrown onto a clay court with small explosive envelopes called "mechas".
For one hour, you will actively participate in a tejo game, with all the necessary instructions to understand its rules, techniques, and strategies, while sharing the space with other travelers and enjoy unlimited local beer, just like Colombians do at this traditional social gathering.
After the competition, the tour continues with a transfer to a craft beer bar located in one of the city`s most culturally and creatively active neighborhoods. There, you`ll begin a guided tasting of different styles of beer, locally crafted with select ingredients and processes that combine traditional techniques with brewing innovation. You`ll learn about the history of each style, its ingredients, its sensory profile, and the growth of the beer scene in Bogotá as part of an emerging gastronomic movement.
