Details of Travel Packages

* Day 1 – Welcome to Cali

Your adventure will begin with a private transfer from Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport to your hotel in Cali. After settling into your selected accommodation, you`ll have free time to acclimatize and relax in the capital of Valle del Cauca, famous for its hospitality, music, and vibrant energy.

In the afternoon, you`ll set out to discover the secrets of the city`s past and its living soul on a Walking Tour of the Historic Center, guided by a local expert. Starting from the traditional San Antonio neighborhood, you`ll visit iconic landmarks such as Plaza de Caicedo, San Pedro Cathedral, Teatro Jorge Isaacs, Parque de los Poetas, Puente Ortiz, and the magical Boulevard del Río. This tour reveals the contrasts of Cali: a city where colonial heritage, urban poetry, and the rhythm of salsa coexist in harmony. The tour will close at Plazoleta Jairo Varela, a lasting tribute to Grupo Niche, an icon of Cali music.

At the end of the tour, you can return to the group or stay on your own to explore more of this dynamic city that feels alive around every corner.

* Day 2 – Whale Encounter Humpback Whales in Málaga Bay

Today you`ll experience one of the most exciting natural experiences in the country. The day will begin very early with a ground transfer from your hotel to Buenaventura, the main port on the Colombian Pacific. From there, you`ll board a speedboat bound for Juanchaco, crossing coastal landscapes until you reach the heart of Uramba Bahía Málaga National Natural Park.

There, a team of native guides and local biologists will be waiting for you to board a specialized boat and sail out to sea in search of the majestic humpback whales, which migrate from Antarctica each year to give birth in these warm waters. During the tour, you`ll have the opportunity to observe the spectacular leaps of the calves, the synchronized fin beats of the mothers, and perhaps even hear their songs underwater. It`s a moving and powerful spectacle, in one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet.

After the sighting, you`ll take a hike through the cliffs and natural caves of the area (depending on the tide), where sea, jungle, and rock combine in a magical setting. The experience ends with a traditional lunch in Juanchaco and free time to relax on the beach.

In the afternoon, you will return by boat to Buenaventura and then by land transport to Cali, where you will spend the night with the memory of the roaring Pacific fresh in your mind.

* Day 3 –  Adventure in San Cipriano

After breakfast, we`ll pick you up from your hotel to begin a unique expedition to the San Cipriano Nature Reserve, one of the best-kept treasures of the Pacific region. After crossing the western mountain range, you`ll arrive at the town of Córdoba, where you`ll board the famous "brujitas", motorized wooden platforms that travel on old train tracks, deep into the jungle.

Once you arrive in San Cipriano, you`ll be welcomed by the fresh air of the tropical rainforest. You`ll take a hike to natural pools and waterfalls, ideal for swimming and connecting with the purity of the environment. Then comes the highlight: tubbing, a fun and relaxing experience where you`ll float down the river on an inner tube, surrounded by vegetation, the sounds of birds, and the murmur of the water.

At noon, you`ll enjoy a typical Afro-Colombian lunch, with fresh ingredients and authentic Pacific flavors. After an afternoon of rest or exploration, you`ll begin your return trip to Cali in the afternoon.

That evening, back at your hotel, you`ll feel like you`ve traveled through different worlds in just three days: city, jungle, sea, and mountains.

* Day 4 – Farewell to Cali

Depending on your flight time, you`ll have time for a leisurely breakfast or a final walk on your own. Then, a private transfer will pick you up from your hotel to take you to Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport.

You`ll say goodbye to Cali and the Pacific with your heart full of unforgettable experiences: history, extreme nature, vibrant culture, and the warmth of a land that always invites you to return.
