After meeting at our meeting point, we will head to the Charles Darwin Station, where you will learn about the main research and environmental education programs developed by the Charles Darwin Foundation in collaboration with the Galapagos National Park.
We will also visit the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center, where you can observe specimens of different ages and learn about the successful breeding and repatriation program that has contributed to the recovery of several species of giant tortoises in the islands.
Throughout the visit, you will also discover the extraordinary biodiversity of the Galápagos Islands, the importance of conserving their unique flora and fauna, and the scientific efforts that have made this archipelago an international benchmark for conservation. This excursion is an ideal opportunity to understand the valuable natural heritage of the Galápagos and the work being done to protect it for future generations.
