DAY 1 – ARRIVAL IN GALAPAGOS: BALTRA SOUTH PLAZAS

Upon arrival at Baltra Airport, you will be greeted by a naturalist guide and your adventure in the enchanting Galápagos Islands will begin. During the transfer to Santa Cruz Island, you will learn about Baltra`s fascinating arid landscapes and its history as a former World War II military base.

In the afternoon, you`ll visit South Plazas, a small island teeming with wildlife. Observe land iguanas resting among prickly pear cacti, colonies of sea lions, and iconic birds such as blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, and swallow-tailed gulls. The dramatic cliffs and reddish vegetation create a unique landscape.

DAY 2 – BLACK TURTLE COVE HIGHLANDS

Explore Black Turtle Cove on a panga tour through mangrove-lined canals. This natural sanctuary is home to green sea turtles, reef sharks, rays, and seabirds.

In the afternoon, you`ll visit the highlands of Santa Cruz, where you can observe the famous giant Galapagos tortoises in their natural habitat. Depending on the itinerary, you may also explore lava tunnels formed by past volcanic eruptions.


DAY 3 – GENOVESA: DARWIN BAY EL BARRANCO

Genovesa Island is a true paradise for bird lovers. In Darwin Bay, you`ll be surrounded by frigatebirds, red-footed and Nazca boobies, gulls, marine iguanas, and sea lions. Wildlife is everywhere you look.

In the afternoon you will explore El Barranco, famous for its impressive volcanic cliffs and large colonies of seabirds. You may also observe Galapagos fur seals resting among the rocks.


DAY 4 – SULLIVAN BAY BARTOLOMÉ

Discover the fascinating volcanic landscapes of Sullivan Bay by walking across vast fields of solidified lava, one of the best examples of volcanic formations in the Galápagos. During your visit, you may spot penguins, hawks, and oystercatchers.

Later, you`ll visit Bartolomé, one of the archipelago`s most iconic islands, famous for its impressive Pinnacle Rock and panoramic views. From the summit, you`ll enjoy one of the most photographed landscapes in the Galápagos.

DAY 5 – NORTH SEYMOUR DEPARTURE

The last excursion of the trip will be to North Seymour, home to colonies of frigatebirds, sea lions, land and marine iguanas, as well as the famous blue-footed boobies.

You will then be transferred to Baltra Airport to catch your flight back to mainland Ecuador, taking with you unforgettable memories of one of the world`s most extraordinary natural destinations.
