Nature and Wildlife

The 4-day Napo Amazonia Wildlife Tour package includes accommodation in the Amazon rainforest, land and river transportation from El Coca, and daily excursions such as wildlife watching, jungle hikes, and canoeing. Full board is also provided, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, guided by an expert in the biodiversity of Yasuní National Park. Visitors will also have the opportunity to interact with local communities and learn about their culture and traditions. The goal is to provide an immersive and educational experience in the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon.
The best time to visit Yasuní National Park is during the drier seasons, which generally run from June to November. During these months, water levels are lower, making it easier to access trails and boating routes. However, the Amazon is known for its tropical climate and the possibility of rain at any time of year. Temperatures are typically hot and humid, even during the dry season, so it is recommended to wear light, weather-appropriate clothing. Regardless of the season, biodiversity is abundant and guaranteed year-round.
Yes, it is safe to hike in Yasuní National Park as long as you follow the instructions of specialized guides and book tours with certified tour operators. The park is well-monitored, and excursions are designed to ensure visitor safety. Guides are knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna, as well as environmental conditions. It is also important to follow basic recommendations, such as using insect repellent, carrying enough drinking water, and wearing appropriate footwear. This way, tourists can enjoy a safe and enriching experience.
During the Napo Amazonia Wildlife excursion, tourists have the opportunity to observe an incredible variety of wildlife, including pink dolphins, caimans, monkeys, anacondas, and a diverse array of tropical birds. Yasuní National Park is one of the most biodiverse places on the planet and is home to unique species. Guides will lead these explorations to ensure maximum viewing of species in their natural habitat without intruding. Visitors may also spot insects and reptiles, which are an essential part of the Amazonian ecosystem. Photographing this natural treasure will be an unforgettable experience.
This excursion contributes to sustainable development and conservation by supporting local communities and promoting responsible tourism. A portion of the revenue generated is reinvested in conservation projects in and around Yasuní National Park. Furthermore, by working with local guides and using sustainable resources, respect and preservation of the environment is fostered. Visitors are educated about the importance of biodiversity and how their actions can contribute to its conservation. This approach helps reduce environmental impact and promotes harmonious coexistence with nature and Indigenous communities.
