Day 1: Welcome to Quito
Arrival in the enchanting city of Quito. Upon arrival, our team will welcome you and transfer you comfortably to your hotel. Free time to relax and begin experiencing the magic of this Andean city. Overnight stay.
Day 2: Historic Quito and the Equator
After breakfast, get ready to discover Quito, one of the best-preserved colonial cities in the Americas. Explore its main avenues and traditional neighborhoods like La Carolina, La Mariscal, and Barrio América. Visit the imposing Basilica of the National Vow and delve into the Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Make a stop at the iconic Panecillo viewpoint to enjoy panoramic views of the city.
Next, continue to the famous Middle of the World City, where you can stand on the equator. Explore the Ethnographic Museum, learn about Ecuador`s ancestral cultures, and experience the unique sensation of being in both hemispheres at the same time.
Day 3: Heading to Galapagos – Nature in its purest form
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport to take your flight to the Galapagos Islands (not included).
Upon arrival, an unforgettable experience begins: a visit to the island`s highlands, where the vegetation changes dramatically and you can observe giant tortoises in their natural habitat. Explore the fascinating lava tunnels, formed by ancient volcanic eruptions.
Continue to the Charles Darwin Research Station, an important conservation center where you will learn firsthand about the efforts to protect the archipelago`s unique biodiversity. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 4: Paradise beaches and marine life
In the morning, hike to Tortuga Bay Beach, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the Galápagos. Enjoy its white sand, crystal-clear waters, and the chance to see marine iguanas, birds, and turtles.
In the afternoon, explore the bay by visiting iconic places such as La Lobería, home to playful sea lions; the romantic Canal del Amor; Playa de los Perros, famous for its iguanas; and Punta Estrada, ideal for snorkeling and discovering the incredible marine life.
Day 5: Free day in Galapagos
Free day to continue exploring the archipelago at your own pace or take optional excursions. An excellent opportunity to personalize your experience according to your interests. Overnight stay.
Day 6: Farewell to the Galapagos
Transfer to the Itabaca Channel to cross by ferry to Baltra and continue to the airport. En route, visit the impressive "Twin" craters, unique natural formations on the island.
