Day 1: Arrival at Galapagos Black Turtle Cove
Arrival at Baltra Airport and transfer to Santa Cruz Island with a naturalist guide. In the afternoon, we will explore Black Turtle Cove by panga, navigating through mangroves and crystal-clear waters inhabited by sea turtles, reef sharks, rays, and seabirds.
Day 2: Rábida Chinese Hat
Visit Rábida Island, famous for its red sand beaches, sea lion colonies, and flamingos. Then we`ll continue to Chinese Hat, a spectacular volcanic islet with coral beaches, turquoise waters, and excellent opportunities to observe Galapagos penguins and sea lions.
Day 3: North Seymour Highlands
Explore North Seymour Island, one of the best places to see frigatebirds, blue-footed boobies, and land and marine iguanas. In the afternoon, we`ll visit the highlands of Santa Cruz Island, home to the famous giant tortoises and fascinating lava tunnels.
Day 4: Sullivan Bay Bartholomew
Explore the stunning lava fields of Sullivan Bay, where you`ll see unique volcanic landscapes, penguins, and shorebirds. Later, we`ll visit the iconic Bartholomew Island, famous for its panoramic view of Pinnacle Rock and abundant marine life.
Day 5: Genovesa – The Kingdom of Birds
Discover Genovesa Island, one of the best birdwatching destinations in the Galápagos. At El Barranco and Darwin Bay, you can admire frigatebirds, boobies, sea lions, marine iguanas, and an incredible diversity of endemic fauna amidst spectacular volcanic landscapes.
Day 6: Interpretation Centre and Return
Before the adventure ends, we`ll visit the San Cristóbal Island Interpretation Center to learn about the history and conservation of the Galápagos. Transfer to the airport and flight back to mainland Ecuador.
