DAY 1
A rewarding 30-minute flight to Coca in the eastern Andes is the beginning of this incredible experience. After landing, a short 5-minute drive to the port on the Napo River will take you to a covered motor boat. Here we begin a boat ride along the Napo for approximately 2 hours. Some birds can be seen along the way.
After arriving at the welcome area of Napo Wildlife Center, we take a magical and peaceful 2-hour canoe along a narrow stream that connects to the lake where the lodge is located. Great opportunities to observe wildlife, various species of monkeys, as well as large birds such as toucans, parrots or even macaws. Arrival in the afternoon at the ecolodge.
DAY 2
After a buffet breakfast, experience life above the forest floor by visiting the 36-meter canopy tower . This tower is located about 30 minutes from the cottage inside the forest. Get a very good sample of the 567 species recorded so far, with a close look at colorful tanagers, macaws, toucans, flycatchers and even spider or Howler Monkeys feed on nearby trees. The pavilion tower opens a whole new world to guests of the Napo Wildlife Center.
Return to the ecolodge for a typical Ecuadorian lunch. After lunch there are many options to choose from before starting the afternoon activity: climb the central tower for bird watching, or just relax in your hammock.
In the afternoon, walk through a wonderful terra firma forest to discover the ecology and role of plants in the complex world of the rainforest: Vines, ancient trees, bromeliads, orchids stand out in this impressive natural garden. After the walk, explore the surrounding streams with possibilities of running in a giant otter family. A delicious dinner awaits you at 7:30 pm.
DAY 3
Tempano in the morning we headed to the most accessible parrot and parrot salting in Ecuador, One hour away from the lodge, guests arrive before the activity of the parrots begins from 7:30 to 8:30. A total of 11 species of parrots, parakeets and macaws can be observed.
We will finish this morning with a visit to the Interpretation Center “Kuri Muyu” run by the women of the community here we will learn more about the Kichwa culture, crafts, traditions and ancestral uses of natural resources.
Lunch and then you will be taken back to the ecolodge, where you arrive late in the afternoon with a delicious dinner waiting for you.
DAY 4
This morning we will hike the Tiputini trail and its mainland forests and swampy forests in search of more life wild as the Golden Mantle Tamarins, the capuchin monkey White-faced hino, lazy two and three fingers, pygmy squirrels and carnivores. forest floor
Return to the ecolodge for lunch and a well-deserved rest. In the afternoon rowing canoes will take you to explore deeper areas in the surrounding streams with more chances to see unique wildlife. After dinner, he will share a talk about the community and the Napo Wildlife Center.
DAY 5
Early departure and last canoe trip back to the Napo River, the stream can reveal new views of giant otters, Mono Saki or many other rare birds.
Transfer to the motorized canoe to return to Coca, arrival approximately after 2 hours of boat trip in order to check-in for the Coca-Quito flight, schedule to be announced according to the details of the output and fixes.
