We will begin our trip from Riohacha early in the morning, at 08:00 AM you will We will search your accommodation and we will head towards the north of the region in search of the beautiful Mayapo Beaches.
After 40 minutes on the route, we will arrive at Mayapo, a complete destination that offers a perfect combination of natural beauty, authentic cultureand opportunities to relax andenjoy the unrivaled golden sand beaches and turquoise waters.
We will enjoy a morning on the beach. You can sunbathe, swim or simply relax on the coast. The Beaches of Mayapo are known for their favorable winds, so you will surely be tempted to practice some nautical activities that are offered in the area : kitesurfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, diving and snorkeling (activities not included, paid directly at destination).
At noon we will go to one of the local restaurants, we will learn the history of its hosts whilewe taste the authentic Guajira food, fish, rice with coconut and banana, will be the protagonists of the table, while the peaceful paradise of the beaches of Mayapo surrounds us.
After lunch, we will visit a local Wayúu community and learn about their customs, lifestyle and main sources of income. Next, you will have free time to explore the area, buy Wayúu crafts and enjoy the landscapes and serenity of Mayapo.
