From your accommodation in the urban area of Pereira or Armenia, we will begin our day at 9:00 am, heading to the heart of Quindío to discover a of the most charming areas of Colombia.
This trip will take us throughcaptivating landscapes, it will take approximately 45 minutes through routes surrounded bycoffee mountains.
Our first stop will be the Cocora Valley, where we will undertake a gentle walk to immerse ourselves in the history and importance of the Wax Palm, national symbol of Colombia. Three strategic viewpoints will allow us to appreciate the majesty of the landscape and capture unforgettable moments in photographs while we explore the palm forest.
Then, we will continue our trip to Salento, approximately 25 minutes away in vehicle. There, we will delight ourselves with a typical lunch, highlighting the local trout. We will explore the picturesque royal street and climb to the "Alto de la Cruz" viewpoint, from where we will get a spectacular view of Salento. We will descend to Mirador Ecopark to complete our experience in this charming town.
Our last stop will take us to Filand, where we will spend approximately 1 hour exploring its rich history and culture. From the Duel of Don Milsiades Marín until theCamino del Quindío Festival, we will discover fascinating events that have marked the future of this municipality. We will visit historical points such as the Grandparents Museum and we will learn curiosities, such as the names that Filandia had before its founding. We will explore the main square, immersing ourselves in the street of stopped time and marveling at thetypical architecture of colonization.
The tour will conclude with our return to Pereira or Armenia around 6:00 pm.
