The day begins with an early pickup point in Santa Marta, where we will take ground transportation to Minca, just 13 km from the city, a journey of approximately 50 minutes. Upon arrival, we will head to an artisan farm on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, where we will discover the fascinating coffee process. You will walk among coffee plantations, learning about the sowing, harvesting, pulping and roasting, while an expert shares all the secrets of this beverage that has conquered the world. To close this first stop, you will enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee, a true pleasure for the senses.
Next, we will take a low-level hike to the picturesque town of Minca, where we will immerse ourselves even further in nature. The next destination will be the Hidden Waterfall, an impressive 30-meter-high waterfall. Cross the river in a jungle setting and, once there, you will have time to take a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waters and capture unforgettable images of the landscape.
We will continue the tour with a medium-level hike to Casa Jocolate, a magical place where we will be welcomed with the characteristic warmth of the region. Here, you will enjoy a delicious homemade lunch, with vegetarian and vegan options available, and you will have time to relax in the hammocks while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
The experience culminates with the cacao workshop, where you will learn about the production process of this delicious seed. During the activity, you will taste 6 different types of chocolate, including a cup of cocoa and a natural chocolate mask, which you can apply to your skin. You will also be able to create your own chocolate bar, taking home a delicious souvenir from this tour. After this delicious workshop, we will return to Santa Marta, reliving along the way everything we experienced during this day full of flavor, nature, and culture.
