The tour operates every day of the year, departing at 7:00 PM and returning at approximately 11:00 PM . The chiva (party bus) picks you up at your accommodation in downtown Medellín or at a pre-arranged meeting point based on your location.
From the very first moment, the atmosphere says it all: live music, vibrant colors everywhere, and the characteristic energy of a night in Medellín. The chiva (party bus) starts up, and the tour begins along Las Palmas , one of the city`s most iconic streets, offering panoramic views of the illuminated Aburrá Valley that, from above, reveal the true scale of the city.
The tour continues along La 70 , the most popular strip of bars and restaurants in Laureles, where Medellín`s nightlife has its own unique rhythm. Next is La 33 in the Conquistadores neighborhood, another classic meeting place for locals, and then Provenza in El Poblado, the city`s most cosmopolitan area with its mix of tourists, locals, and excellent cuisine.
The main stop on the tour is in Itagüí or Sabaneta , two municipalities in the southern Aburrá Valley with a very strong Paisa cultural identity. Here you get off the chiva (a traditional bus), walk around, soak up the atmosphere, and understand why Antioquian culture doesn`t end at the city limits of Medellín. Sabaneta, in particular, is known for its religious fervor, its small-town feel, and a unique rumba (party scene).
The return to Medellín closes the journey with the same energy with which it began.
