We will start the day with the pick up at your place of accommodation at 08 AM. From the center of Cartagena we will depart towards the Totumo Volcano.
During the trip, our expert guide will share information about the history, geography and culture of the Caribbean region of Colombia. El Totumo is a natural wonder that defies geological conventions and is a sacred site, shrouded in myths and legends that speak of its power to heal the body and mind. spirit.
After an hour and a half of travel , we will arrive at the most famous mound of mud in Colombia; There you will receive instructions on how to descend into the crater safely and how to enjoy bathing in the therapeutic mud. After approximately an hour on the volcano, you will descend from the summit to cleanse yourself in the nearby lake. Locals will be there to help travelers shake off the mud and cool off before continuing with the tour.
Around 11:00 am we will leave for the town of Galerazamba, we will explore its streets, central square, and visit the Museum of Ethno- industrial, where you will learn about the salt industry and the daily life of local communities.
We will close the day with a delicious typical lunch that will include dishes such as fresh fish or chicken, rice, banana and salad.
About 1 PM We will return to Cartagena, leaving you back at your accommodation.
