We will meet today at 07.00 AM in High Summer season or at 08.00 AM in Low season Winter at the starting point in Puerto Natales (Eberhard 560), or at 07.30 or 08.30 at the Puerto Bories Pier to begin this experience that you will not easily forget.

Puerto Bories is located 4 km from Puerto Natales, about 20 minutes by car, this place is home to the Frigorífico Bories, which since 1996 has been a National Historical Museum. It was the refrigerator most important in the area for more than 60 years, the museum houses all the history and machinery used since the sheep farming boom in Patagonia.

From this place, to at 08.00 High/09.00 Low we will set sail on the catamaran towards Monte Balmaceda, sailing the Last Hope Fjord, accompanied by panoramic views of mountains, forests and waters crystal clear of the fjord. It is also possible to see sea birds, sea lions and other animals.

Our first stop will be at 11:00 High/12:00 Low approximately at Balmaceda Glacier, here we can observe from the boat the impressive front of the glacier, which often shows spectacular ice falls into the sea. If we are a little lucky, we will be able to see the majesty of the Glacier and the sounds of the landslides of ice, which create a unique experience.

After this visit to the Balmaceda glacier, we will sail to the Río Serrano, where we will disembark at approximately 11:30 High/12:30 Low to continue by land, with a short gentle walk through the Patagonian forest characteristic of the region, we will get to have some of the best views of this only glacier that reaches touch the waters of the lagoon of the same name Glacier Serrano.

After enjoying this natural environment, and different views of the Glacier, we will return to the boat to start the way back. Not before going through a beautiful place located 51 km from Puerto Natales, where you can only arrive by sea, Estancia Perales, where we will enjoy a typical Magellanic lunch at 2:00 p.m. High/1:30 p.m. Low hours approximately. Often a Roast Lamb, although it could vary with another typical dish Patagonian, accompanied by various fresh local accompaniments.

The Balmaceda and Serrano Glacier Navigation is a unique experience, for all those who want to explore natural beauty and the wildlife of the Magallanes region. A great opportunity to see the imposing Glaciers up close, hear the sounds of the ice and connect with the southernmost and unexplored nature in the world.

We will return to Puerto Natales at 17:00 High/18:00 Low Hours approximately the same boat full of new memories and many photos to download.
