Our exciting adventure begins by checking in at the lobby of the Lago Grey Hotel one hour before departure. Schedules and frequencies change depending on the season.
Once we check in, we will walk for approximately 40 minutes or 3 km along Grey Beach from the hotel to reach the Grey III Catamaran, where our beautiful tour will begin. Departing from the Grey area of Torres del Paine National Park, heading for the edge of the Southern Ice Field, where the Grey Glacier is located.
We will visit the glacier aboard the Grey vessel.
This imposing glacier has an ice wall measuring approximately 40 meters in height and a combination of blue tones that create a stunning natural view. We`ll also see the numerous floating icebergs and their diverse formations, ideal for viewing or photographing.
After sailing for approximately 45 minutes, we will approach the glacier, which is divided by a central island, where we can disembark if weather and wind conditions permit.
This way, it is possible to fully enjoy the countless crevasses and uplifts that make up the snowdrift. Occasionally, large ice collapses can occur, impeding the navigation of the Grey III, but it would give you the opportunity to sail in a Zodiac... another way to enjoy this adventure.
The adventure to the Grey Glacier, sailing through the waters of the lake of the same name, takes approximately 3 hours and includes an appetizer per person (pisco sour, soft drink, or juice).
It is also possible that during the navigation we may encounter adverse weather conditions, mainly wind, which can make the experience even more exciting. Rest assured that the entire team on board will always do everything necessary to make your experience unforgettable.
After an unforgettable adventure, we will return to the dock feeling like we have experienced the grandeur of nature in its purest form. This sailing on Grey Lake is a unique opportunity to connect with the natural beauty and magnitude of the glaciers.
Don`t miss it!
