Today we will immerse ourselves
together in the natural beauty of Patagonia and explore one of the most impressive glaciers in the world.
We will start by leaving
early from Puerto Natales by Bus or shared vehicle. Departs from centrally located hotels in Puerto Natales at approximately 6:00 AM.
After crossing the border crossings at Cerro Castillo and Cancha Carrera, the route crosses the vast Argentine Patagonian steppe toward the beautiful tourist town of El Calafate, approximately 270 km from Puerto Natales. We recommend that you have all your documents handy and up-to-date to quickly cross the border.
During the tour, we will be able to see local wildlife species such as guanacos
and rheas and we will also appreciate Lake Argentino and the Santa Cruz River on their way to the Atlantic Ocean.
Along the 80 km route
to Los Glaciares National Park,
we will arrive between 1:30 p.m. and Approximately 2:00 PM. The time here may vary depending on the border and the procedure.
The Perito Moreno Glacier offers a spectacle of sights and sounds. The slight ice calving occurs constantly, so it is quite possible to witness this unique natural phenomenon. The glacier`s uniqueness lies not only in its 30 km length and easy access, but also in the fact that it is one of the few that is advancing, while most of the world`s glaciers are retreating.
The walkways, balconies, and viewing points installed in the national park allow us to approach the Perito Moreno safely, even for elderly people or those with physical disabilities.
At approximately 4:15 PM, we will begin our return trip by bus along the same route to return to Puerto Natales, at approximately 10:00 PM. The vehicle will drop us off at our accommodation, located in centrally located hotels.
We will arrive full of new unforgettable memories and photos to download from this exciting
excursion to the impressive Perito Moreno Glacier.
We are waiting for you in this
beautiful adventure!
