The Blue Safari excursion offers an unforgettable experience: Touch the Perito Moreno Glacier with your own hands!

On this tour we will sail on Lake Rico within the Los Glaciares National Park, follow our experienced guide and land on the coast of the Perito Moreno Glacier where we will walk through a natural terrain of sand and stones, along the coast of the lake and through a lush forest until we reach the glacier.
Once next to it, we will be able to fully enjoy its intense and varied blues, whites and its whimsical shapes, and take countless photographs.

Upon returning to the coast, we will have 2 hours to enjoy the panoramic view from the famous walkways that face the glacier.

Details of Day Tours

The Blue Safari tour begins in El Calafate, from where a bus will take us to Los Glaciares National Park.

Once at Puerto Bajo de las Sombras, just 7 km from the walkways, we will follow our experienced guide and take a boat to cross Lake Rico, and after sailing for 20 minutes we will disembark on the opposite coast. Little by little we will walk through a natural terrain of sand and stones with some slopes and stairs, always with a view of the south wall of the Glacier in case we are surprised by a thunderous landslide, until we reach the ice and touch the Perito Moreno Glacier itself!

We will stay for a while to fully enjoy its shapes and colors and, after taking many photos, we will return to the boarding point. On the boat you will be able to appreciate the face of the glacier and every detail of the marbled icy wall.

Once at the port, we will take the bus to the walkways, where we will have 2 hours to enjoy the incredible panoramic view and free time for lunch (not included). 

We will finally arrive at El Calafate after traveling through the Patagonian steppe, with our souls charged with the natural energy of this unique glacier.
