Details of Travel Packages

Day 1: Arrival

Upon arrival at Mendoza Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel by a guide (in Spanish).

The rest of the afternoon is free for you to explore the city, settle in, and enjoy your first day.

Day 2: Winery Tour

During the afternoon, you will visit two wineries in the Luján de Cuyo and Maipú departments. The winery guides will show you the winemaking methods and the processes of producing, bottling, and labeling the wines, culminating in a tasting. Afterwards, you will visit an olive oil farm to observe the olive oil production process and enjoy a tasting. At the end, you will return to the hotel to rest. Day 3: High Mountains Early in the morning, following the Mendoza River, we will enjoy beautiful views of the Cordón del Plata mountain range and the Potrerillos Dam. The next visit will be to Uspallata, a pre-Hispanic settlement of the Huarpe people and the point as far as the Inca Trail extended from Peru. You will have free time to use the chairlift, which offers beautiful panoramic views. Further along, we will find the Inca Bridge and continue our journey to the Aconcagua Mountain viewpoint (6,959 meters), from where you can access Horcones Lagoon and Aconcagua Provincial Park. Following the international route, we will arrive at our final destination, the European-style village of Las Cuevas, located at 3,200 meters above sea level. Between Las Cuevas and the international tunnel lies the route that allows you to ascend to the Christ the Redeemer Monument, located at 4200 meters above sea level, which symbolizes the union between Argentina and Chile. Once you have visited all the points of interest, we will return to the hotel. Day 4: Return After your last breakfast at the hotel, a car will be waiting to take you to the airport for your flight home or to continue your journey to another destination. End of services

The best way to describe this company is: Professional. They tailor the tour to your own interests in food, wine, hobbies, activities, etc. They arrange everything for you. They are flexible and communicate your itinerary clearly. The drivers-tour guides were outstanding. They made us feel like we were family and shared their love of Argentina. It's difficult to believe that Tangol tours could live up to its reviews, but it did. Just fantastic service! They helped plan an itinerary for us -- some wineries we knew we wanted to visit and some they recommended. Matieu picked us up from the airport and was our driver/guide for our time in Mendoza, and he was just terrific. As someone else noted, he had perfect English, having lived in London. And he is so knowledgable about the area -- it seemed he was able to answer even our most random questions. And he was fun to be with! So many extra touches -- the little gifts, the guides given to us. First class all the way. He and the travel agency were really great in helping us arrange the tour. He and the agency were in constant contact with us, including as late as 10:00pm as they were confirming next day activities. They helped us plan an extra day of wine tasting (wine and chocolate tasting that was great followed by a terrific lunch at another winery). Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the amazing level of service. I would absolutely recommend Tangol to anyone looking to visit wineries in Mendoza.

We planned a trip in the deep of the country with Tangol and everything was really excellent. We went to Mendoza, San Juan, the Andes, Patagonia (El Calafate), Ushuaia and even in Chile and Tangol's services were one of a kind - their guides never came late, speak English and Spanish, and were really nice guys. I really recommend their services for sure!
