DAY 1 Estancia Nibepo Aike- Sitio Cachorro - Sitio Laguna 3 de Abril:
Starting at 8:30 am we will pick them up in the center of El Calafate, from there we will go to the ranch, arriving at approximately 9:45. Then our great adventure will begin riding towards the Cerro los Cristales.
As we advance among the trees and native flora, we will see the impressive landscapes of the lakes, Brazo Rico and south, Lago Roca and Cerro Frias, there is the admirable Andean forest.
Once we pass through the forest, we will observe the Río Cachorro Valley where we will find notros and calafates, unique flora of Patagonia.
From there we will descend until we reach the river, where we can also begin to see the Frías Glacier and the granite needle of Caesar`s Finger.
We will travel along paths full of rocks and grasslands until we reach the corrals of the Río Cachorro where we will make our first stop to have lunch a spectacular country dish.
Following that, we will go on horseback to the Laguna 3 de Abril, there we can appreciate the exclusive fauna that this magical place offers us; flamingos, black-necked swans, cauquenes and steam ducks are the protagonists of this incredible lagoon. We will arrive at the Laguna 3 de Abril Post where we will rest, enjoy the beautiful surroundings and a delicious wood-fired dinner with a clay and brick oven; We will try the famous mate and listen to adventure stories and then go to sleep.
DAY 2 South Arm of Lake Argentino:
At the beginning of the day we will return on horse along the South Arm until we reach the ranch 18km from the post. There we will have a tasty Patagonian roast lamb for lunch and we will return with transfer to El Calafate around 2:15 p.m.
