DAY 1
Puerto Iguazú to Yacutinga Lodge.
14:00 hs. Meeting point in Puerto Iguazú.
14.30 hs. Departure from Puerto Iguazú to Yacutinga. During the tour we will notice the agricultural system of subsistence farming that predominates in the northeast of the Province Misiones.
The landscape is extremely picturesque, characterized by deep green, reddish and clayey roads, the Colonos and their Yerba Mate farms. In the afternoon, we arrive at the southern entrance of the Yacutinga Private Reserve, located in the middle of the Paraná Jungle.
Arrival at the lodge, reception, distribution of rooms. Presentation of the activities that will be carried out during the stay and introductory explanation about the environmental problems of the Missionary Jungle and the actions that we are developing to achieve its conservation.
Dinner. Accommodation.
DAY 2
Yacutinga Lodge - Yacutinga Private Reserve.
Early in the morning you will go on an interpretative hike into the Yacutinga Private Reserve, accompanied by specialized guides who provide very good information about the different natural environments, their flora and fauna.
At mid-morning we return to the Lodge.
Lunch.
Free time to enjoy the comforts of the lodge (swimming pool, observation towers, fireplace, bar, etc.).
In the afternoon navigation in kayaks through the Yacutinga Reserve calm waters. This is a good time for photo-safari and wildlife observation in general. This navigation lasts almost 3 hours, crossing in silence the area of Galery Forest.
Dinner.
For those more adventurous our guides organize a night walk through the jungle. Assisted by power lights and observation equipment to discover nocturnal fauna, particularly owls and caprimurfids that are active at night.
Accommodation.
DAY 3
Tomorrow in Yacutinga and return to Puerto Iguazú.
Breakfast and free time to explore the surroundings of the Lodge, or simply relax in the Lodge area.
Native orchid rescue.
At mid morning return to Puerto Iguazú (meeting point).
Arrival estimated 12.30hs - 13:00 hs.
