The tour will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a pick-up service from hotels located in Armenia or in central areas of Quindío (except for mountain municipalities such as Córdoba, Pijao, and Buenavista). From there, we will head to one of the most charming destinations in the Coffee Region: the Parque de los Arrieros, a living stage that pays tribute to the Colombian muleteer, that key figure who crossed mountains with mules, dreams, and shipments of coffee.
Upon arrival, you will receive the Arriero Passport that will open the doors to a tour of more than six hours full of humor, theater, music, and tradition. You will experience an interactive day that combines 13 immersive activities with 8 artistic presentations that portray, with mischief and talent, the soul of the Colombian countryside.
At each stop, such as the Fonda del Arriero, the Camino Nacional, the Teatro del Pueblo Cuyabro or the Coliseo del Arriero, you will immerse yourself in everyday scenes where country humor, traditional knowledge and stories of yesteryear become a spectacle. You will walk among coffee plantations, bamboo groves and thematic stations that invite you to participate, laugh and learn. Each character will tell you what it means to be a muleteer in these lands.
In the middle of the day, you will have free time for lunch (lunch not included) in one of the park`s restaurants, with options ranging from bandeja paisas (tranparental dishes) to typical dishes with a country flavor.
At the end of the route, we will return to your hotel to close this experience around 6:00 p.m.
