We`ll begin by meeting at La Cava . From there, we`ll be escorted to the room where we`ll have this great experience. We`ll be given a sheet of paper with information to fill out, which will be useful later in the activity.
The sommelier will give a general introduction to the wines, involving the people, and will begin the tasting of three wines, one from each region distinguished by its wines.
Northwest Argentina will be represented by a Torrontés paired with Salta-style empanadas . Moving on to the Patagonia region, a Pinot Noir will be served with a mushroom crostini . And finally, Cuyo will be represented by a Malbec served with meat skewers.
This entire experience will be guided by a sommelier , who will explain the geographical differences and the characteristics of each soil that influence how wines are made. It`s an interactive activity where you can complete a checklist detailing how all the senses interact when tasting wine (its color, aroma, etc.). We`ll also have aromatherapy diffusers to help you understand the many olfactory notes of wines.
