Enter this unmatched adventure to learn everything about the wildlife of the Cuyabeno region. On this three-day tour you will be able to learn all about the wildlife of the region, observing all kinds of animals such as birds , monkeys, anacondas, alligatorsand much more!
DAY 1
The adventure begins by arriving at the village Lago Agrio border oil tanker. From this point, a private transport will take us to the Cuyabeno Bridge, where we will meet our guide. There we can have lunch at a local restaurant or at the hostel.
After our guide checks us in at the National Park, we will board a motorized canoe to take a two-hour trip along the Cuyabeno River, known as “the river of kindness”, where we can enjoy incredible views surrounded by of wildlife until reaching the Laguna Grande. We recommend that you have your camera ready, as we will see monkeys, anacondas, alligators, and toucans. b>, macawsand more! A unique journey!
Upon arrival, we will have a short break at the lodge and then head out to explore the spectacular Laguna Grande for bird watching and searching for pink dolphins. When dusk arrives, we will be greeted with an incomparable view.
We will return to the lodge for dinner and then be able to rest with night sounds of the rainforest and prepare for the Second day of this adventure.
DAY 2
After breakfast we will go for a short canoe ride to get closer to one of the trails in the National Park. We will walk along the Tierra Firme Forest while our guide explains about medicinal plants, the ecosystem and the indigenous life of the forest.
After lunch, you will have time to relax before embarking on the next adventure where we will continue exploring the flooded forest by canoe b>to observe the native flora and fauna of this region.
At night, after dinner, we will do a night sighting with flashlights in search of more species that will delight us in nature.
DAY 3
This day begins, if you wish, with a bird watching enjoying the morning in the jungle. After breakfast, we will begin our return trip, our adventure will end with a last look at the wonderful wildlife of this region. We will go to Cuyabeno Bridge and from there we will get back into the private vehicle to return to Lago Agrio.
