We will begin the activity with the pick up at your accommodation in Bogotá, < b>this tour can start between 07 AM and 01 PM, you choose the time that is most comfortable for you.
Our guide will take you to the starting point of the tour: The El Paramuno Ecological Trail, located in the Monserrate hill at 3150 meters high. We will go up to the top by funicular (train) or cable car (cable).
Once inside the mountain andsurrounded by a high Andean forest ecosystem, we will advance along the 360 meter long path designed exclusively for bird watching and nature contemplation.
This captivating mountain is home to more than 100 species of unique birds, including the Cundiboyacense chamicero (Synallaxis subpudica) , the copper underpants (Eriocnemis cupreoventris), the violet-bellied inca (Coeligena helianthea), the rufous conirostrum (Conirostrum rufum), the white-faced fan (Myioborus ornatus), almost endemic species, which have a rather restricted distribution in the country.
Throughout the tour, our expert guide will guide you will provide a lesson on the Colombian avian fauna, you will learn the details of the biodiversity and ecological richness of this ecosystem. And you will surely be able to come across one of the 18 species of hummingbirds that reside on the hill. The hummingbird was chosen as the representative bird of the Monserrate hill.

The tour will end descending from Monserrate Hill. We will take you back to your accommodation after 4 hours of exploring the Bogotá fauna.
