We leave from the hotels in San Pedro de Atacama and take the route that connects this town with the town of Calama, crossing the Salt Mountain Range. After approximately 25 km of travel, we will find a group of seven incredible saltwater lagoons, known as the Lagunas Escondidas de Baltinache, due to the difficulty of accessing them.
The Lagunas de Baltinache are characterized by their great scenic beauty, thanks to the transparency of their waters, which also have a very high level of salinity, producing a floating effect when swimming in them (as happens with the Laguna Cejar and the Dead Sea). You will be able to take a relaxing salt bath, floating in its waters, while enjoying the incredible landscapes. You can only swim in the first and last of the lagoons and they have bathroom and shower facilities.
We will share a nice lunch to recharge our energy. On our return, we will go into the Salt Mountain Range, home of a unique geography, which will welcome us with its history and landscape. We will finish with a cocktail from the high part of the Mars Valley, where we will appreciate the textures of the desert.
