The intense turquoise colour of the waters surrounded by salt formations makes this place one of the most visually stunning.
We continue to the Cordillera de la Sal, which was formed millions of years ago and has a great variety of natural sculptures, different types of stratification and colours due to the mineral diversity of the place.
Finally, we head to the Valle de la Muerte Viewpoint, from where we can observe the strange formations where rocky natural sculptures and sand dunes abound. This place is also a clear example of how arid the Atacama Desert can be, since no plants grow here, which is why it has been classified as the most inhospitable place on the planet. We continue to the Ojos del Salar, two very deep blue freshwater lagoons, located in the middle of the Salar de Atacama. Finally we will go to Tebenquiche, a lagoon formed by the thawing and rains that fall during the year, and for this reason, the landscape around us changes a lot. Return to the hotel 17:00 hs.
