City Tour Tucumán

Visiting Plaza Independencia and surroundings: Government House , San Francisco Temple, Cathedral Church, San Martín Street at 400, La Merced Church and Casa Avellaneda. We visited Parque 9 de Julio, and the Casa Obispo Colombres Sugar Industry Museum. Around Urquiza Square: the Legislature, the Casino, the San Martín Theater and the National College. Visit to Yerba Buena, the Garden City, residential and wooded area. Overnight in Tucumán

Departure to Cafayate through Tafí del Valle , Amaicha and Quilmes.

Route 307 marks the ascent to the Valleys. The road goes into the Quebrada del Río Los Sosa and we stop at the “El Indio” monument. Further up, we arrive at El Mollar to visit Los Menhires. Then we visit the picturesque town of Tafi del Valle. The RP 307 ascends to the Calchaquí Valleys in pronounced zigzag until the Abra del Infiernillo, at 3,042 m.a.s.l. Amaicha del Valle: we visited the square and its surroundings. After joining the RN 40, the Sacred City of Quilmes bursts to the left. On the hillside, reconstructions of the residential area are noticed, topped by a fortress located on the top and two forts on both sides. We walk on foot what was the last bastion of aboriginal resistance to the Spanish advance. The legendary RN 40 is lost in the valley heading north, but not before going through Colalao del Valle. Cafayate, land of the sun and good wine, welcomes us with grape crops in parral and trellises. We visited a winery. Night in Cafayate

Cafayate, located in the province of Salta, is one of the most important points of the Calchaquí Valleys for its powerful wine industry; its Calchaquí, Spanish, immigrant and Creole history, resulted in this city having a colonial-baroque style from the late 19th century. The wineries will be visited where you can taste the particular Torrontés wine. Leaving then to Salta through the majestic Quebrada de las Conchas, where the curious formations eroded by wind and water will be the main attraction: the dunes, the toad, the bishop, the throat of the devil, the castles, the amphitheater, among others . Night in Salta

Free morning

Night in Salta

A journey through the Quebrada declared Heritage of Humanity, where the landscape and the colors of the hills are combined with the equally colorful cultures that inhabit this area. It is a journey of social contact and a view of the ancestral. Start with the arrival at the Pueblito de Purmamarca to observe the Cerro de los Siete Colores, the Church and the Artisan Market of the square. I pass through Posta de Hornillos, continuing to the town of Tilcara to visit the Pucará and the Archaeological Museum.
