At 4:30 PM, we will pick you up from your hotel in San Miguel de Tucumán. From there, we will head to the city center, where we will learn various interesting facts about the Independence of Argentina.
First, we will visit the Historic House of Independence, a beautiful colonial-style building where the independence of Argentina was proclaimed on July 9, 1816, where we can walk around its surroundings. This area of the city is home to notable buildings such as the Church of San Francisco, the Church of La Merced, and the Cathedral of San Miguel de Tucumán, which has an imposing neoclassical façade.
After learning about the history of this great event, we will head to the 9 de Julio Park and the Casa Obispo Colombres Sugar Industry Museum. Then we will visit the Plaza Urquiza, there we will visit the Legislature, the Casino, the Teatro San Martín and the Casa Belgraniana.
After finishing this 4-hour tour, we will drop you off at your centrally located hotel in Tucumán.
