We will leave from our selected hotels in San Miguel de Tucumán at 7:30 AM to take Route 307, which marks the ascent to the Valleys. We will enter through the Quebrada del Río Los Sosa and stop at the monument "El Indio". We will go up to El Mollar to visit the Menhirs, and from here we will go to the town of Tafí del Valle.
The Route continues up to the Calchaquí Valleys to Abra del Infiernillo, 3,042 meters above sea level. In Amaicha del Valle we will stop to visit the square and its surroundings.
We will continue our way to the Quilmes Sacred City, where we can see the reconstructions of the residential area, with its fortress on the top and two forts on both sides. We will walk on foot what was the last bastion of the aboriginal resistance against the Spanish advance.
We will continue along the legendary Route 40 heading north, passing first through Colalao del Valle. We will continue towards Cafayate, the land of the sun and good wine, which will give us Welcome with grape crops in parral and trellises. Here we will have time to visit a winery, and then we will be returning to our selected hotels in Tucumán.
