The tour will begin in the morning in the neighborhood of San Telmo, one of the oldest and most classic in the City.
From there you will go to the neighborhood of Puerto Madero where you will pass through the Dikes.
A 20-minute bike ride will take you to the Recoleta neighborhood, specifically the Café la Biela. Here is the sculpture of Jorge Luis Borges, an Argentine poet and writer, considered one of the greatest storytellers of the 20th century. Special mention will be made of the poem "Soneto del vino" dedicated to the national drink.
A few meters away is the Basilica Nuestra Señora del Pilar. The guide will tell how wine entered America at the hands of Catholicism.
In the neighborhood of Palermo, the Sanmartinian National Institute will be known. Here is an unmissable anecdote about José de San Martin and wine.
The next stop will be the Forests of Palermo. There is the sculpture of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento. He was the one who brought the malbec strain and one of the presidents with the greatest interest in wine production in Argentina.
Where the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) is currently located, the Giol winery was located. It was one of the largest wineries in the country and next to it is the train that brought the wine from the Province of Mendoza to Buenos Aires to be bottled in the factories.
Finally, you will arrive at the winery "Sommelier on a Bicycle". There you can taste a cheese board accompanied by the national drink.
Once the tasting is over, the guided bike tour will end.
