Daily
departures from the marina Puerto Norte, located in the north
coastal, in front of metropolitan airport Jorge Newbery.
We
sail about 30/40 minutes to the Playa Honda, located 25km away from
the coast of Buenos Aires Argentina, as well as the Uruguayan coast
up to Colonia del Sacramento. Fishing is done literally "in the
middle of the river" between Argentina and Uruguayan coasts. Or
rather even "in the heart of the estuary."
Once
at destination, the fishing method implemented to meet the schools of
silversides in this immense sphere is the "adrift", which
consists in ridding the boat drifting wind and tide, so crossing a
wide portion of river and thereby increasing the chances of crossing
the species.
The
boats have onboard nautical grill, so creole lunch offer and
autochthonous as tenderloin or pork tenderloin sandwiches that
characterize the locals.
The
boats of 8 meters, are very comfortable when face the difficult
waters of the Rio de la Plata, and guarantee a pleasant and smooth
navigation, avoiding large bumps and dousing (essential in winter
season). We also have all the elements necessary to prioritize safety
first.
