Travelling In Jujuy

Jujuy is situated to the north of Salta. Its capital is “San Salvador de Jujuy”. It is located in the “Valles Templados” region, one of the meeting point to start to travel it. The best season to go to Jujuy is Spring. This region shows mountains, green plains, rivers, fantastic lakes, eye-catching landscapes and pleasant weather. Because of all these features the visitors can make activities like trekking, contemplative tourism, photographic safaris and cultural tourism.
One of the outstanding points is the “Quebarada de Humahuaca” which was declared Heritage for Humanity by the UNESCO. This area shows a paradise landscapes in which the Rio Grande runs. Besides there are archaeological sites surrounded by colorful hills.
