Details of Day Tours

The tour starts with a pick up from the hotels in the centre of Quito or from the meeting point in Magic Bean (corner of Foch and Juan León Mera). From there, we will drive for about three hours westwards through a beautiful forest to the riverbanks.

Once we arrive, a specialized guide will provide us with life jackets, a helmet and a safety briefing. Afterwards, you will be divided into groups for an intensive practice of rowing in the boat with your guide.

Rafting time is approximately 3½ hrs. During the experience, we can expect both the action of the exciting white waters and the tranquility of the silent drift through the tropical forests. You are guaranteed to get wet, you will also have the opportunity to be absorbed by the sounds of the forest and see wildlife up close.

During the trip we`ll stop at the river`s edge for a delicious picnic lunch and to finish this adventure, we`ll celebrate the day with a few cold beers and return to Quito at approximately 7:00pm.
