Details of Day Tours

Today we will embark on an adventure, leaving the hotel early at the agreed time to head to a gem in itself. Our first stop on the tour.

1. Pablo Neruda House Museum in Isla Negra, located on the central coast of Chile. Isla Negra was the Chilean poet`s favorite residence and is where he and his wife Matilde Urrutia are buried. During your visit, you will explore the house where Neruda lived for much of his life. The house is a reflection of the poet`s creative spirit and is filled with objects, works of art, and collections that reveal his personality and passions. You will be able to admire the impressive views of the sea from the house`s terrace and stroll through the gardens, which are full of unique sculptures and artistic elements.

2. We will continue our adventure today to Pomaire, where we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant where we can sample traditional Chilean food such as empanadas and stews (not included). This town is famous for its pottery, and we will visit workshops and shops where artisans create and sell a variety of products, from pots and plates to decorative figures. We will enjoy a stroll through the cobblestone streets and soak up the relaxed atmosphere of Pomaire.

3. Wine Tasting. We will move to a specially prepared room, to taste a selection of Viña Undurraga`s emblematic wines, which often include varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Carmenère. Experts will guide us through the tasting, explaining and teaching us how to distinguish the characteristics of each wine.

This tour combines the appreciation of Pablo Neruda`s poetry and legacy at his house museum in Isla Negra with the artisan and culinary culture of Pomaire. It is a unique opportunity to learn more about the life of the famous Chilean poet and experience the authenticity of local craftsmanship in a charming and culturally enriching environment.

We return to Santiago full of new memories; it will be an experience you will never forget!
