Details of Travel Packages

DAY 1: Transfer Puerto Montt Airport To Hotel Centro De Puerto Varas
 Arrival at El Tepual Airport, in Puerto Montt. At the appointed time, a driver will wait for you at the airport to take you to your hotel in Puerto Varas. 
Rest of the day free to rest or explore the city.

DAY 2: City Tour In Puerto Montt And Puerto Varas 
Breakfast at the hotel. At approximately 9 AM we will be picked up from the selected hotels to go to the highest point of the city of Puerto Montt where we can enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Afterwards we will visit the monument to the German settlers to continue along the beach of Pelluco. We will arrive at the emblematic kilometer 0 of the Carretera Austral, and we will return by this route to go to the famous Angelmo Avenue. We will walk along this avenue, very well known in the country for its great number of handicraft shops, and we will also visit the Municipal Market where we will find the richest and most traditional dishes that characterize the area. We will continue towards Puerto Varas where we will visit its main attractions such as the Cathedral and Phillipi Park, and then we will descend bordering the beautiful Lake Llanquihue (if the weather allows it, we will also see the Osorno Volcano), ending with a last stop at the beach of Puerto Chico. We will finish at approximately 1 PM, having the rest of the day free to rest or tour the city of Puerto Varas.

DAY 3: Tour around Chiloe
Breakfast at the hotel. At approximately 8:45 AM we will begin our day by leaving our selected hotels to go to Pargua, where we will board a ferry that will take us to Chacao, the gateway to the island of Chiloé. After 30 minutes of navigation we will arrive at the city and we will make a tour by the same one where we will know the seat of arms, its colorful constructions and their impressive Church of Wood. We will continue through the city of Ancud, where we will visit different landmarks such as the San Antonio Fort built in the 18th century, the Ancud Museum, the city center and the Costanera Avenue, all this while listening to the mythological and magical stories of the island. After this visit we will be returning to our selected hotels at approximately 7 PM.

DAY 4: Tour To Frutillar 
 Breakfast at the hotel. We will leave at approximately 8:30 AM to begin our journey to Frutillar. We will make a first stop in Llanquihue, a city that is part of the old route of the colonists, and then we will border the lake of the same name to reach our destination. Here we will explore this beautiful city founded in 1865, with its German architecture and impressive views of the Osorno and Puntiagudo volcanoes. Optionally you can choose to explore the German Colonial Museum, which shows the life of the settlers, and the famous Theater of the Lake, where the Musical Weeks of Frutillar are held annually, with its worldwide attendance (entrance fees not included).

DAY 5: Transfer Hotel Puerto Varas to Puerto Montt Airport - Transfer Airport to Hotel in Punta Arenas
Depending on the time of return from our flight we will have free time for last minute shopping or touring the city. Again at the agreed upon time our driver will pass by the hotel to take us back to Puerto Montt`s El Tepual Airport, where you can take your flight to Punta Arenas (not included)

Arrival at Punta Arenas International Airport. At the agreed time, a driver will wait for you at the airport to take you to your hotel. Rest of the day free to rest or explore the city.


DAY 6: Tour of Punta Arenas
Breakfast at the hotel. At approximately 9:30 AM the guide will pick us up at the hotel and we will begin our tour of the city. We will visit the Plaza de Armas where the monument to Hernando de Magallanes is located. Here you will also find the statue of the Patagonian Indian, which holds a curious legend: if you want to return to Patagonia you will have to kiss his big toe. We will continue to tour the city while appreciating beautiful buildings such as the Cathedral, the Sara Braun Palace and the residence of José Braun Menéndez, where entering this place we can learn about the life of the first pioneers at the beginning of the 20th century. We will also visit the Maggiorino Borgatello Salesian Museum that gathers collections of native flora and fauna and utensils of the Patagonian natives. (Entrance fees to both museums not included). We will continue visiting the main streets of the city to appreciate the traditional Shepherd`s Monument, and the Costanera Avenue where we will be able to touch the waters of the cold Strait of Magellan, if we dare. Finally we will visit the Regional Cemetery, whose streets have beautiful gardens (entrance to the cemetery not included). After the visit we will go to the Cerro de la Cruz viewpoint, where we will have a beautiful panoramic view of the colorful houses of Punta Arenas, the Strait of Magellan, Tierra de Fuego Island and Dawson Island. After admiring the landscape, we will be returning to the hotels at approximately 1 PM.

DAY 7: Magdalena Island Tour 
We will meet at 6:30 AM at our meeting point to leave for the Laredo Bay pier. Here we will embark to go to Magdalena Island. While sailing we will be able to appreciate different panoramic views of the rural area and Tierra del Fuego Island, as well as different birds that inhabit the region such as cormorants. Sometimes it is also possible to see southern dolphins jumping near our boat. After two hours of navigation we will arrive at Magdalena Island, where Los Pingüinos Natural Monument is located. More than 120,000 Magellanic penguins live here, as well as a large number of birds and sea lions. Here we will get off to walk the different paths that go from the coast to the highest sector of the island, appreciating the penguins and their nests a few meters away. In the highest sector is the Environmental Interpretation Center and the Lighthouse, which we will be able to access by climbing its steep stairs to obtain the most impressive view of Magdalena Island and the Strait of Magellan. We will be returning to the pier and then to our meeting point, arriving at approximately 1 PM.

DAY 8: Transfer Hotel in Punta Arenas to the Airport
Depending on the time of return from our flight we will have free time for last minute shopping or touring the city. Again at the appointed time our driver will pass by the hotel to take us back to Punta Arenas International Airport.
