Today we will embark on this unique experience of connecting with nature and an exciting adventure: Cascada de las Ánimas Plateau Horseback Riding. In the magical Cajón del Maipo Valley, the fascinating Cascada de las Ánimas Nature Sanctuary awaits us, a paradise in the mountain ranges, full of serene valleys, crystal-clear springs, and waterfalls that bring this spectacular corner to life.
Our day begins with the excitement of adventure. We depart from Santiago at approximately 8:00 a.m., traveling approximately 60 km to the impressive Cascada de las Ánimas, located in the heart of the beautiful Cajón del Maipo Valley. As we leave the city behind, we enter a landscape of majestic mountains and serene valleys, preparing for the unique experience that awaits us.
Upon arriving at our destination at approximately 9:50 a.m., we will be greeted by the imposing Cascada de las Ánimas Nature Sanctuary. With 3,600 hectares of pure natural splendor, this place invites us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of the mountain range, picturesque valleys, crystal-clear springs, and, of course, the impressive waterfalls that give this paradise its name.
Around 10:00 a.m., we`ll prepare for this unique experience of connection with nature. We`ll receive safety instructions and embark on a horseback rideof approximately 2 hours along trails that will reveal the pure essence of the region. On this journey, we`ll be able to admire the majesty of hidden waterfalls
and, with luck, spota condor soaring through the skies.
After this exciting ride, we head to the Meseta,
a flat area that offers impressive panoramic views of the mountain range. Here, we`ll experience another sensory experience to round off our day. We will enjoy a special lunch, including a delicious barbecue, fresh salads, and wine, all amidst a unique natural setting.
With our hearts full of memories and the satisfaction of having explored the Cascada de las Ánimas, we will begin our return to the hotel at approximately 5:00 PM. The day culminates in the serenity of nature and the promise of carrying with us the magic of this unforgettable experience.
