We will begin our experience leaving at approximately 06:30 a.m. Santiago towards the area of Cajón del Maipo, a spectacular Andean canyon located 900 meters above sea level in the Pre-Cordillera of Santiago, known for its natural beauty and adventure activities. This picturesque place, nestled in the mountains, will surprise you with its local life and the samples of typical gastronomy that you can find along the way.
We will have time to stop for breakfast in one of the typical places in the surroundings (not included in the price) and then we will continue towards Las Cascadas.
During the tour through the Cajón del Maipo, we will enjoy impressive panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains, rivers and lush vegetation. Fresh air and natural beauty will surround us as we travel deeper into the heart of the mountain range.
The highlight of the excursion will be a visit to the spectacular El Yeso Reservoir, a beautiful turquoise reservoir surrounded by towering mountains. We will also visit the Hidden Waterfall, where the contrast of the bright blue water with the white snow and green vegetation creates a visually striking landscape.
We will have time to explore the surrounding area in both Cajón del Maipo and the El Yeso Reservoir. We will find numerous picturesque places to take photographs, from majestic mountains to serene waters, every corner will be an opportunity to capture unforgettable memories.
On our return, we will visit the Casa de Chocolate, a must-see, and the Plaza San José de Maipo, before continuing our return to the starting point.
Without a doubt, this experience combines the adventure and natural beauty of the Cajón del Maipo with the tranquility of the Embalse El Yeso. It is a perfect opportunity to escape the city, connect with nature and enjoy the breathtaking views in a picturesque setting.
