On this tour
We will visit a route that combines what amazed Charles Darwin in Chiloé,
both the Chiloé National Park and the town of Chonchi with its church
world heritage.
This route will show you
the nature of which the naturalist Charles Darwin was amazed when
tour the Lakes Huillinco, Cucao and the Pacific Ocean. We will visit the Park
Chiloé National Park, known for housing and protecting a large number of species
of flora and fauna, among which we can appreciate thetepa, olivillo, coigüe,
luma, myrtle and larch.
Likewise, an aspect
of interest in the fauna of Chiloé is the presence of endemic species of
mammals and birds, due to its island status. You can see the fox
chilote, Chiloé mountain monkey, pudú, sea otter, with respect to the
birds, we will be able to appreciate the rayadito of Chiloé, the cuca heron, the caranca, the cormorant of
the rocks, pilpilén austral and black woodpecker, all this while we carry out
an attractive walk along the trail of “El Tepual” ending with a visit
to the visitor center where you can see part of the morphology of the area and
more than some typical Chilote tool such as the press for the pestle
apples.
The route includes
the visit to the city of Chonchi, known as the “Three-story City” by
its different slopes where its Heritage Church of the
Humanity, the museum of Traditions.
In this picturesque town we will take a delicious lunch at one of the local restaurants. The menu varies, but if you have a preference you can tell us.
We will end this experience back at our hotel full of memories and many photographs.
