Details of Day Tours

Our tour begins with the pick-up by the central hotels of El Calafate from noon, to go to the Estancia Río Mitre. We will make a journey of 53 kilometers bordering the Lago Argentino and then come across route 60 and take a path of gravel until we reach our destination.

As we get closer, we will notice that the room is surrounded by incredible landscapes since it is facing the Andes Mountains and the Magallanes Peninsula . Once inside, they will welcome us with tea, mate or hot coffee while they give us the welcome talk . They will explain us about the horses , the safety at the time of riding and the considerations that we must bear in mind to do this activity.

Then, they will take us to the cavalry to start the cavalcade towards the shore of Lake Rico and once there, being able to skirt the lake , contemplating the incredible postcard  of snow-capped mountains that surrounds us . At that time, we will only dedicate ourselves to enjoying the sound of nature , appreciating the unique landscape found there and observing the large number of migratory birds that pass by. 

At the same time, the guide will explain the history and geography of the place for those who wish to do so. It will be a moment where  everyone will be free to ride on their own or walk and get to know the whole area with the guide. 

When we finish, the  guide will take us to the ranch where they will wait for us with a delicious Patagonian Lamb cooked on the stake accompanied by a wide variety of salads.  After lunch, they will give us free time to get to know the facilities of the ranch while those who chose the option of "4 HS RIDING "In that free time, they will be doing this activity. 

Once we finish enjoying this incredible day , we will return to the city and drop you off at the central hotel.
